Working more productively: 1&1 expands its portfolio with Microsoft Office 365

1&1 (www.1and1.co.uk) is expanding its portfolio for small and medium-sized businesses, by extending its family of products to include Microsoft Office 365. Together with its other  professional e-mail solutions for SMBs, Europe´s leading web hosting provider will now provide customers with everything they need for professional business communication from a singular source; including a new free initial Office 365 setup service and migration of existing data.

New: Expert help with the initial setup

To co-inside with the launch of Office 365, 1&1 is offering an additional service for the first time – if required, customers can benefit from a free initial setup of their Office package, e-mail account or domain as well as the migration of their data, by experts from 1&1.

Working more efficiently with comprehensive Office solutions

The 1&1 Office 365 packages are designed to enhance the overall efficiency of daily working life; they include all familiar Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Depending on the customer’s chosen package, they can be used via web browser, downloaded software or Office Mobile Apps on up to five PCs or Macs, five tablets and five smartphones per user. Additional features like e-mail and Skype for Business are available and all users will benefit from automatic updates.

The more extensive Office 365 packages provide an additional terabyte of OneDrive for Business online storage, enabling employees to access files and work remotely from any location.

The right package for everybody

Office 365 is available at 1&1 as part of a variety of different packages including attractive welcome offers. For customers who need integrated e-mail and Office solutions, OfficeBusiness and OfficePremium Plus are both suitable bundles: Alongside all the Microsoft Office applications they also contain professional e-mail features like a 50 GB mailbox and an e-mail address fitting the customers’ domain. Skype for Business is also included as well as a top level domain like companyname.co.uk, free of charge for the first year. For customers who decide on the OfficePremium Plus package, Norton Security Online virus protection is also included on request for the length of the contract. This means that up to five devices of an OfficePremium Plus user – whether PC, Mac or mobile devices – are comprehensively protected against online threats.

The OfficeBusiness package is available from £2.99 per licence/month and OfficePremium Plus from £4.99 per licence/month.

If an e-mail solution is not required, then the OfficePremium package is the perfect choice – all common Office solutions are included and are available online, via software installation and on Office Mobile Apps. This plan is available from £3.99 per licence/month.
